Community Programmes

  • Marikana High school Rustenburg –North West Province work currently happening in the school include renovation of staff room/ hall, fixing of leaking roof of laboratory and painting and tiling of ablution facility.
  • In 2022 there was additional investment in educational materials, which benefited 60 schools located in North West Province in the following Department of Basic Education districts, Bojanala, Matlosana, and Ngaka Modiri Molema. The average positive impacted learners in high schools and primary schools is 30 000.
  • On 26 October 2021, the Teba Fund Trust donated furniture and equipment to Zanele Mtshali Disability Home in Khutsong/ Carletonville and Goitsimodimo metal disable home in Kokosi/Fochville and both facilities are in Gauteng Province.
  • Around 2011/ 2012 Teba Fund Trust constructed classrooms in three schools situated in Eastern Cape Province- six classrooms at Zinini primary; in Lower Sitholeni primary school in Engcobo village received ablution facilities, administration block, and four classrooms. Mpame Secondary school in Elliotdale village Teba Fund Trust built one block of classrooms and single administration staff room.
  • From 2013 to 2018 Teba Fund Trust in partnership with U.S Africa Children’s Fellowship invested in educational materials and setting up functioning libraries in 250 schools in Eastern Cape Province.

 

TEBA FUND TRUST Commemoration of anniversary of Mandela Day: SINGING, DANCING AND GIFTING AT EVENTS OF AREAGANENG BAGOLO, VUSELEITHEMBA CARE CENTRE AND EMTHOJENI SATELLITE 2. DO WHAT YOU CAN, WITH WHAT YOU HAVE, WHERE YOU ARE”

In 2022 Teba Fund Trust board of Trustees member Mr Mpho Phakedi share the joy of giving with principal Officer Mr Fhedzani Mashamba and Emthonjeni Centre Manager Ms Malefu Mosia. The centre is Everton with 80 girls and 70 boys and total of 150 Learners received hygiene products on 25 July 2022

The beneficiaries of   donation from Teba Fund Trust during Mandela Day events on 18th and 25th July 2022 were Aganang Bagolo baSimunye Care of The Aged (Service Centre) a community-based care and support service for older persons situated at 24’l l Golden Avenue Westonaria. The support did not end only to Bagolo baSimunye Care and Emthonjeni Centre but proceeded to Vuselel’Ithemba Care Centre at Welverdiend in Carletonville

MARIKANA HIGH SCHOOL RENOVATION PROJECT

The project was contracted on 20th March 2022 and the due date for the completion of the project was mid May 2022. I am glad to confirm to you that the industrious work of the team and their tireless enthusiasm led to the completion of the project before the due date which was 16 May 2022. Overcrowding is the big problem in the school due to repaid growth in the enrolment and other problems that Teba Fund trust addressed Included the following:

  • Repaired the science laboratory leaking roof, replaced damaged ceiling and painting interior of the structure
  • Repaired school hall which was converted into the staffroom due to the lack of accommodation. What was fixed include tilling the floor and install book shelves for the teachers

KGOTHALANG HIGH SCHOOL RENOVATION PROJECT

The project work commences on Friday the 12th of August 2022 as soon as the final arrangement with the school regarding access to toilets in particular of girls and access during Saturday’s and Sundays

  • The last renovation done was for the toilets involving painting the roof, ceiling and both inside and outsides walls as well as tilling
  • The renovation work in the three blocks of toilets included fixing the boys urine system, painting in all the toilets, replacement of the toilets systems and repair the damaged toilets
