Teba Fund Trust’s contribution to education in South Africa
The Teba Fund Trust’s partnership focus has led to the creation of numerous functioning libraries in government schools mainly primary and high schools. Teba Fund Trust has been a significant contributor to primary and secondary education in South Africa.

We have partnered with rural schools that lack the basic infrastructure of a classroom, desk and library books and donated over 700 000 school library books at 310 primary and high schools situated in Eastern Cape and North West Province
Driven by the social objective of improving the quality of ex- and current mineworker’s community lives, Teba Fund Trust’s concerted efforts of Social Investment focus is on empowering communities through investing in sustainable educational and developmental programmes.

The Teba Fund Trust is administered jointly by the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) and the Minerals Council of South Africa, previously known as the Chamber of Mines, with equal representative whose beneficiaries are the customers of Ubank.
